## What changed

- Anthropic, PBC filed Amendment No. 1 to its Form S-1 on November 2, 2026 (accession 0001628280-26-068676). The registration statement is still not effective, and the price range and number of shares remain blank.
- The amendment updates the financials to the nine months ended September 30, 2026: revenue of $33,242 million against $2,545 million a year earlier, and $17.0 billion for the third quarter alone, up from $1.4 billion.
- The filing says third-quarter revenue grew 1,127% year over year while compute and infrastructure expenses grew 382%; nine-month compute and infrastructure expense was $18,808 million.
- The third quarter swung to an operating loss of $567 million after operating income of $974 million in the second quarter, which the filing attributes primarily to $5.0 billion of compute under short-term commitments and $2.0 billion of non-cash donation matching charges.
- The headline commitment figure left blank in the first S-1 is now filled: an aggregate committed spend of approximately $895.4 billion, substantially all for compute and infrastructure, with approximately $447.5 billion expected before December 31, 2030.
- Nine-month net loss was $104,039 million, mostly a $94,324 million change in fair value of convertible notes and related instruments; cash, cash equivalents and short-term investments were $131,845 million as of September 30, 2026.
