## What changed

- The repository ships six Claude Code slash skills for Instagram-style reels with no footage: /zach-d-films (3D cartoon explainer), /stick-figure, /minimalistic-graphics, /map-route, /breakdown (3D exploded view) and /graph.
- Install needs macOS or Linux with ffmpeg, Node.js 18+ and Python 3.9+; ./install.sh links skills into ~/.claude/skills/ and sets up three.js, Playwright, GSAP and HyperFrames. An optional ./install.sh --voice downloads about 1 GB of on-device voice and word-timing models.
- It is also packaged as a Claude Code plugin via /plugin marketplace add and /plugin install animation-skills@claude-animation-skills; plugin skills are namespaced as /animation-skills:graph and the README says the git-clone path is the one tested end to end.

## Early verdict

Worth a look for Claude Code users who need short reel animations without After Effects or stock footage: six named skills with install paths, output sizes and render-time claims spelled out in the README. (Basis: Based only on the project README and homepage as read on November 5, 2026; we have not run the skills.)

## What we have not verified

- We did not install the skills or render any animation; render times and example lengths are from the README.
- We did not verify HyperFrames, Playwright, Kokoro or Parakeet setup on a fresh machine.
- GitHub showed about 402 stars when we checked on November 5, 2026; star counts move and we did not re-check after publishing.
