## What changed

- Connections go through Plaid; users sign in at their bank and approve read-only access, so Claude does not ask for or see bank passwords.
- For connected accounts Claude can see bank name, account name/type, last four digits, balances and credit limits, and up to two years of transactions.
- Access is read-only: Personal Finance cannot move, manage or invest money, has no ads or sponsored product offers, and is not designed to give investment advice.
- Chats inside the Personal Finance hub are not used to train Anthropic's models; unlink removes access. Outside the hub, existing privacy settings apply.
