- Surfaces: Voice chat works in the Agents Window, the IDE, on web, and in Cursor for iOS; iOS can start via "Hey Siri, call Cursor" and mute or hang up from Lock Screen Live Activity.
- Grok Voice: Voice chat runs on Grok Voice with selectable voices (Ara, Eve, Leo, Rex, Sal). With Privacy Mode on, voice chat runs with zero data retention.
- Distinct from dictation: Voice chat is separate from dictation (earlier "Voice Mode"); Cmd+Shift+Space still toggles dictation in the IDE while Voice chat is a two-way spoken conversation.
