## What changed

- The GitHub repository was created on October 30, 2026 as an Agent Skill for Claude Code that scrapes one Douyin video's full comment section (top-level comments, nested replies and video details), optionally downloads 720p video, and writes a like-sorted 评论全文.md plus raw JSON.
- Requests are issued inside the user's already-logged-in Chrome tab so the page SDK computes signatures. The README states there is no TikHub paid API, no Playwright and no a_bogus reverse engineering.
- Measured runs in the README: a 7-minute AI-tools video yielded 83 top-level + 112 replies = 195 comments (matching the displayed 195) in 35 requests over 138 seconds with no captcha; a 46-minute tutorial yielded 77 + 58 = 135 comments in 63 requests over 252 seconds.
- Mechanism: page_hook.js captures the first real comment request as a template; page_fetch.js replaces only aweme_id, cursor and comment_id; page_ui_expand.js is a UI-click fallback; recv.py receives pages locally; build_report.py merges. Pacing is 2–4s between requests, plus 8–15s every 15 requests.
- Install: git clone into ~/.claude/skills/douyin-comments (or project .claude/skills/). Needs Claude Code with Claude in Chrome (/chrome), a logged-in Douyin Chrome session, Python 3 stdlib and curl. Links: douyin.com/video/<id>, modal_id homepage links, v.douyin.com short links.
- Limits in the README: no captcha solving; single video only (not Xiaohongshu, Bilibili or batch creator scrapes); deleted/folded comments missing; after ~500 top-level comments the API repeats (measured 823 of 1067); nested replies beyond 20 untested. Personal research only.

## What we have not verified

- We did not install the skill, connect Claude in Chrome, or scrape any Douyin video ourselves.
- Measured comment counts, request totals and timings are from the README only.
- GitHub showed about 401 stars and 104 forks when we fetched the repo; star counts move and we did not re-check after publishing.
- The repository has no license file and no GitHub Releases tag.
