Runway's Oct 15 changelog adds Mirelo SFX 2.0 and BiRefNet v2 background removal to Runway MCP, following Fish Audio Drama 3, Seedream 5.0 Flash and Seedance 2.5 Draft Mode in the previous two weeks.

## How to set it up: Try Runway through MCP

1. **Check your plan.** The changelog marks most recent additions as Paid Plans, a few as All Plans. Confirm your plan before testing.

2. **Add Runway MCP to your agent tool.** Runway MCP is on Cursor's Marketplace. Other agents need their own MCP setup; follow Runway's current docs.
3. **Give it a clip and a request.** For example, ask the agent to add footsteps and ambience to a clip with Mirelo SFX 2.0 and return a separate audio track.
