#What the source saysStatus
01The notes list MCP client OAuth2 and a Connect-page change that will "tidy the Connect page and add five AI clients." They also say AI agents can upgrade a piece step to a newer version.Reported
02AI providers: the notes add Meta and NVIDIA ("add meta and nvidia as ai providers") and separately add Cohere as an AI provider.Reported
03New and expanded pieces include an Apache Kafka piece to publish and consume messages, 28 AI agent tools on Letta (plus a New Message trigger fix), and 51 Twitch actions for channels, chat, moderation and schedule.Reported
04Bexio gets 103 AI agent tools and output schemas. WhatsApp gets 19 new actions and 4 webhook triggers on Graph v23.0. The notes also backfill action classification for 226 more pieces by real usage.Reported
05Under Breaking Changes, the notes say code steps now run on Deno by default and that failed code steps are logged. A separate engine fix raises the disk-pressure threshold to 90%, and a webhook fix stops a failing Return Response from crashing the API process.Reported
06SSO: a pending domain now gets 7 days to verify instead of 3 hours. A bug fix says extract data and agents work again on Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Fable 5.1.Reported

In the source’s words

“MCP client OAuth2”

“tidy the Connect page and add five AI clients”

“run code steps on deno by default and log failed code steps”

Early verdict

Self-hosters moving from 0.92.x should read the 0.93.0 notes before upgrading, because code steps now run on Deno by default (listed under Breaking Changes) and a large batch of piece and AI-provider updates landed together. Teams using MCP clients, newer Claude models, or pieces such as Letta, Kafka and WhatsApp are the ones most likely to notice; everyone else can treat this as a large minor release rather than an emergency.

Basis: Based only on the Activepieces 0.93.0 GitHub release notes as read on November 8, 2026; we have not run the release.

What we have not verified

  • We did not install or run Activepieces 0.93.0, or try MCP client OAuth2, the new AI providers, or the listed pieces.
  • We did not confirm whether every item under Breaking Changes is user-breaking; many of those entries also appear under Pieces.
  • We did not verify the Claude Opus 5.5, Sonnet 5.5 and Fable 5.1 extract-data fix against Anthropic's current model list, or test the Deno-default code-step change on an existing flow.
