Changelog: site and data changes
This changelog records changes to how Agentic Weekly works and what its data says: evidence labels, pricing status, new pages, indexing and machine-readable files, and fixes. Individual tool pages show their own last-verified dates.
2026-10-26
- Model data hub. New /models page with sourced facts per model (release date, context window, modalities, licence, price, source URL, last-verified date), a new this week page, and a best LLM for coding page with sourced benchmark figures. Models are labelled Reported (read from the vendor page) because none has been run by us yet.
- Machine-readable model data. models.json, models.csv, answers.json, latest.json and a models RSS feed, described in a complete OpenAPI 3.1 file that now includes schemas for every JSON response. See developers.
- News feeds by type. Release briefs are split into model news and tool news, alongside the combined feed.
- How to cite us. New /cite page: how to credit a page, a verdict, a ranking, a model fact or the open data, and what to keep when quoting.
- Newsletter. Issue 1 has a stable URL (the old sample URL redirects to it) and the newsletter pages say the email takes about six minutes to read. A small, dismissible subscribe card appears after about 40% of a page or about 45 seconds; it is not shown on the newsletter and legal pages and can be closed with Escape.
- Indexing clean-up. Thin generated comparison pages, weekly release pages and release months with fewer than five releases are marked noindex (still reachable by link) and removed from the sitemap, so the sitemap lists only pages that add something. llms.txt was shortened and the full lists moved to llms-full.txt; both now match the sitemap.
- Titles and descriptions were shortened to fit search results, and per-pair data was added to the alternatives pages so they differ from each other.
- Submit, sponsor and contact pages now explain what we cover, what a good submission includes, what happens after you submit, and how paid placements are shown. No prices or audience figures are published on them.
2026-10-25
- Removed individual operator name. Agentic Weekly pages, legal pages, JSON-LD and markdown twins now identify the author and publisher as the Agentic Weekly organization, operated independently from Texas, US. The contact address is unchanged.
- Evidence labels now carry scope. Every Tested entry states what was run, which model and hardware, the date and what was not tested. Tested means a smoke test, not a benchmark. See methodology.
- Ranking basis published on /ai, /best and the methodology page: ranks are editorial judgement.
- Pricing status added. Prices show an official, partial, third-party or not-verified status with a check date.
- New comparisons: Claude Code vs Cursor and LangGraph vs CrewAI.
- New explainer: What is an MCP server?
- New pages: About, methodology, contact, how we differ and this changelog.
- Markdown versions added for comparison and alternatives pages (append .md to the URL).
- Authorship and dates: pages show the publisher (Agentic Weekly) and a last-updated date; the sitemap's last-modified dates come from each entry's own verified date.
