Microsoft released Semantic Kernel python-1.47.0 on November 5, 2026. The release notes say it requires Python 3.11 or later (3.10 support removed; tested through 3.14), batches Google AI embedding requests to the 100-input limit, respects optional MCP prompt arguments, propagates MCP init failures, and wires ChatHistoryReducer into ChatCompletionAgent.

| # | What the source says | Status |
|---|---|---|

| 02 | Google AI embeddings: Python now batches Google AI embedding requests to the 100-input limit, and Google AI completions count Gemini thinking tokens in usage. | Reported |
| 03 | MCP: optional MCP prompt arguments are respected, and MCP initialization failures are propagated instead of being swallowed. | Reported |
| 04 | Agents: ChatHistoryReducer is wired into ChatCompletionAgent invocation, empty tool results are kept through the prompt round trip, and non-adjacent tool pairs are preserved during history truncation. | Reported |
| 05 | Connector fixes: Redis vector search is restored after the redisvl>=0.5 API change (including include_vectors=False), Mistral AI chat completion no longer crashes on unknown finish reasons such as model_length, and Mistral AI seed setting is accepted by the SDK. | Reported |
| 06 | Also listed: OpenAPI allowlist path-case and prefix-match fixes, SQL Server and Oracle collection query fixes, NVIDIA nvext via extra_body, and consolidated Python dependency updates for the 1.47.0 cut. | Reported |
