Best for
- Best AI tool for music: Full-song generation with plain-language section edits; v6 launched Sep 9.
What’s new
Suno introduced v6 on Sep 9 as three models: v6 (Pro and Premier), v6-wild for exploration (Pro and Premier) and v6-mini for everyone, with plain-language editing of parts of a song.
- v6 is the flagship model for Pro and Premier subscribers; v6-wild is less predictable and more varied; v6-mini is faster and available to everyone.
- Edit part of an existing song in plain language, such as changing one chorus while keeping the rest.
- Build mashups from multiple sources in one request, and sample, isolate and build a new beat in a single workflow.
- Create from text, audio, images and video, and change a single lyric without rebuilding the song.
- Suno says v6 was developed with industry partners including Warner Music Group, BMG and Believe.

Edit instead of regenerating
Ask for a change to one section, such as the chorus, or one lyric line, rather than rebuilding the whole song.
