What changed
| # | What the source says | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | Teammates are agents that work inside Perplexity Computer with your tools and files, coordinate Computer sessions and other teammates, and keep project goals, task history and shared files across runs, according to the post. | Reported |
| 02 | They act without a fresh prompt: the post says teammates monitor ongoing work, investigate when things change, and send progress updates and approval requests until a task is done; feedback such as a two-week notice period is applied to later tasks. | Reported |
| 03 | A teammate can be added to a Slack channel so colleagues hand it work or ask for updates, and teammates can pass work to each other, for example one finding website bugs and another preparing fixes. | Reported |
| 04 | Each teammate runs in a separate environment with its own browser sessions, builds on Computer's existing tool and project permissions, and stores saved credentials encrypted; users can review work, take over the desktop or redirect it. | Reported |
| 05 | Setup is under Teammates in the web app's left navigation: name it, connect plugins such as Slack, GitHub or Gmail (choosing which GitHub repositories it can reach), describe the work, and assign it a project and a first task. | Reported |

What we have not verified
- We did not use teammates; every capability here is Perplexity's description in its blog post.
- The post gives no price beyond requiring a Max subscription, and no date for the iOS release or the promised expansion of access.
- We did not check how the separate environments, permissions or credential encryption work in practice.
