Runway's Oct 15 changelog adds Mirelo SFX 2.0 and BiRefNet v2 background removal to Runway MCP, following Fish Audio Drama 3, Seedream 5.0 Flash and Seedance 2.5 Draft Mode in the previous two weeks.

  • Oct 15: Mirelo SFX 2.0 in Runway MCP: give your agent a clip and describe the sound to get a separate audio track.
  • Oct 15: BiRefNet v2 background removal in Runway MCP.
  • Oct 14 and 12: Fish Audio Drama 3 voiceovers and Seedream 5.0 Flash image generation arrive in Runway MCP.

    Runway MCP is on Cursor's Marketplace. Other agents need their own MCP setup; follow Runway's current docs.

  3. Give it a clip and a request

    For example, ask the agent to add footsteps and ambience to a clip with Mirelo SFX 2.0 and return a separate audio track.
